Green eSports Academy teams up with EdTech company to provide online learning resources
A.C. Green Youth Foundation and the A.C. Green eSports Academy have been at the forefront of positive social impact to ensure a brighter future for the youth of America. In a further effort to support student success, they have teamed up with Shmoop, an award-winning online education solutions company focused on middle and high school students, to enable educational equity and equality for youth by offering access to leading learning platforms.
Together, they have set out on a mission to change the outcome of student equity and equality by means of donations, in an effort to grant funding to more than 100 schools in need. This funding is intended to provide schools with access to Shmoop’s online learning resources and A.C. Green eSports learning platforms.
“We have an opportunity to impact the next generation in a powerful way, and we look forward to doing it together. We know that together we can make a difference in transforming the future for students, and we look forward to doing that with the A.C. Green eSports Academy, Shmoop, our board members, and our sponsors. This program and partnership will build equity for students and offer youth access to the resources they need to grow and succeed,” says A.C. Green.
This program is designed to ensure that students will have access to critical educational tools that drive toward improving learning outcomes, focus on social emotional awareness, and extend access to courses such as financial literacy, life skills, entrepreneurship, literacy, test prep, and so much more.
Shmoop’s CEO, Andy Rahden shares, “Partnering with AC Green’s eSports Academy is truly in line with our mission as an organization. So many students are struggling both emotionally and academically due to today’s circumstances, and enabling them with the educational resources they need to succeed can help build equity among students. We look forward to seeing the outcomes this will provide to the thousands of children it will change the future for today.”
“It’s not about impressions it’s about impact. It’s not about talk, it’s about transformation, and I’m excited to see these two organizations team up for student success,” says Jerome Carter, Profesor and Educational Advocate.
