Honored to be a Member of the USA Legacy - Hall

Saniyah Hall

From her initial trials as a 14-year-old in 2023 to ascending the podium with a 3x3 gold medal the subsequent year, Saniyah Hall has been progressing toward this moment. The 16-year-old guard hailing from Lorain, Ohio, has secured her position on the 2025 USA Women’s U19 National Team, prepared to perpetuate a heritage of excellence on the global platform.

“I was truly appreciative to have my name announced. I felt extremely thrilled,” Hall expressed. “I was thinking, ‘I have accomplished this, so now it’s time to commence my efforts.’”

This mindset has characterized Hall’s rise through USA Basketball. She is now competing at the 2025 FIBA U19 Women’s World Cup in Brno, Czechia. The USA entered the tournament with a history of winning gold at 10 FIBA U19 Women’s World Cups, including the last three, and is scheduled for Friday’s quarterfinal confrontation against France after overpowering China 122-57 on Wednesday in the Round of 16.

“It’s a benchmark that we uphold for ourselves here at USA,” Hall stated. “It’s anticipated for us to secure another victory and maintain that winning streak.

“We’re embodying excellence, and that’s why being involved with USA Basketball is such a remarkable opportunity. I’m exceedingly, exceedingly thankful. ”
